The Historic Venture Continues Between MXGP and ATHENA

Alonte (Italia) March 2024 – Athena is thrilled to announce the renewal of the collaboration with Infront Motor Racing for the 2024 FIM Motocross World Championship. This dynamic partnership continues to solidify the drive for innovation in the world of motocross.

Embarking on another thrilling season, the Athena Group and GET (Electronics division) continue to be a global supplier, reaffirming its committed support to some of the most elite riders and teams in the paddock. For years, the iconic logos of Athena and GET have been omnipresent on the tracks of MXGP events.

Some of the best MXGP/MX2 teams and riders will use their GET's Electronic Engine Units (ECUs) and other accessories linked to GET during the 2024 season. That will include the brand new SX1 PRO 2024 control unit launched at the 2023 Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations which is used by the whole Monster Energy Yamaha Factory Racing MXGP Team with Maxime Renaux, Jago Geerts and Calvin Vlaanderen as well as JM Honda Racing’s Brent Von Doninck in MXGP and Hakon Osterhagen in MX2 among other. GET will finally provide the CDI ECU for 2-stroke carburetor engines to the whole Fantic Factory Racing EMX125 Team.

An exceptionally new partnership has been signed also with JM Honda Racing involving Athena brand and its core project on Pistons developments. The team has chosen to run with Athena Piston given the product exceptional performance and reliability under any circumstances.
