AP Racing, a British company, was founded in 1920 under the name Automotive Products (AP) by Edward Boughton, Willie Emmott, and Denis Brock. Initially, AP imported automotive components from the United States to convert military vehicles into civilian vehicles in post-war UK. The business soon expanded into the production of components for the British automotive industry as the sector at that time was growing quickly.
