Renthal was founded in 1969 in Manchester by Andrew Renshaw and Henry Rosenthal, two engineers sharing a passion for motorcycles. This company, whose name derives from the union of the two founders’ surnames "Ren" and "Thal", is a leader in the design and manufacture of components for motorcycles and bicycles, in particular handlebars for Mtb, off-road and road motorcycles.
This company started its business with trial handlebars, which in 1975 it joined the motocross ones. In 2004 Renthal went down in history as the first aluminum handlebar manufacturer to be chosen as the original equipment supplier for a Japanese motorcycle manufacturer. Today Renthal handlebars equip Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and KTM motorcycles.
In 2010 Renthal made its entry into the mountain bike sector, becoming in a few seasons one of the most successful component manufacturers in the competitive arena, as well as one of the best known and most appreciated brands by riders.
The current range of Renthal products includes handlebars, grips, levers, bumpers, bolts, sprockets, chainrings, chains and pads.
Renthal today is a global brand and his history is littered with innovations, incredibly reliable components, passion and successes in sport.
