The Leatt brand was founded in 2001 when Dr. Christopher Leatt witnessed the tragic death of a motorcyclist. Driven by the dedication to protect his son and all riders from the effects of catastrophic neck injuries, Leatt began research and development on a device that could withstand even the most powerful shocks.
