Motorcycle Cylinders And Cylinder kits

The cylinder is the motorcycle and quad spare part in which Athena has been constantly investing for more than ten years to improve its manufacturing and performance. Now, Athena has available a very flexible aluminum cylinder manufacturing department that can manufacture this part for manufacturers as well as small series designed for fast prototyping to develop new engines for racing teams worldwide. Athena's engine cylinder and thermal units (the latter consisting of cylinder, piston and gaskets) are known worldwide for their performance, durability and reliability. Rigorous design and control treatments are combined with precision finishing: the thermal engine cylinders are coated with a nickel-silicon coating, or "motor-nicksil", developed by Athena to achieve even greater surface hardness and wear resistance. Quality tests are also of primary importance: all the thermal unit components are verified by Athena's technicians through strict bench and road tests with racing teams. Athena offers a wide range of thermal units to meet the needs of those who need a simple spare part for motorcycles and quads or for riders who wish to increase the power of their vehicle: the standard bore kits guarantee the same performance of the original components, while the big bore kit is ideal to improve the performance of off-road motorcycles and ATVs.
