Athena at the 4th “Città di Lonigo” Cycling Memorial in memory of Davide Rebellin
Lonigo (VI), Sunday 7 September 2025 — A morning of sport, community and remembrance filled the roads of Lonigo and the Berici Hills with the 4th “Città di Lonigo – Davide Rebellin e altri amici” Cycling Memorial, starting from Parco Ippodromo and finishing at the “Renato Mancassola” Municipal Stadium. The non-competitive event offered free participation with mandatory registration, and ended with a convivial pasta party for all riders.
Athena was there. With deep roots in this area, we chose to support and take part in a celebration that sees the bicycle as a language of sustainability, well-being, and social cohesion. Joining days like this means renewing our commitment to stand alongside the Lonigo community in initiatives that help it grow—authentically and together.
The Memorial—organized with the involvement of Liona Bike Team—is an open-to-all ride, in line with past editions and their non-competitive spirit, turning sport into a collective gesture of remembrance.
Thank you to the organizers, volunteers, and everyone who made the Memorial possible. For Athena, supporting local initiatives like this means safeguarding our identity and promoting a culture of gentle mobility and respect for the environment—in the name of community.
