Alonte (Vicenza), March 28, 2022 - Athena, a company known internationally for the production of technical parts for motorcycle manufacturers, joins the list of Official Ducati Suppliers, a select group of companies that contribute to the development of the Borgo Panigale company's vehicles at racetracks and on the market. Every year, this program sees the participation of important companies in the world of two wheels.

Comprehensive knowledge of the motorcycle market and the continuous design of innovative solutions have seen Athena take on a number of special projects, in both the mechanical and electronic fields.

Specifically, these projects concern the development of a special data acquisition system for the collection of parameters during road tests carried out before the vehicles are marketed, in order to ensure their compliance with Ducati standards. A further project aimed at a special application in development involves the use of two components for the lubrication management and control system, namely an oil level indicator and a special vent plug to regulate pressure inside the transmission compartment.

The inclusion of Athena and GET in the Official Ducati Suppliers program will therefore help to increase the visibility and relevance of both brands on the national and international market, giving continuity to the development of innovative new projects.

Marco Mogentale, General Manager of Athena Electronics Division, says: "We have been working with Ducati for quite some time and joining this program is a source of pride and satisfaction for us. We have already defined a roadmap of new projects that will see us consolidate the collaboration and develop turnkey solutions, with a focus on innovation and reliability."

Davide Perni, Preventive Quality Manager at Ducati, says: "A few years ago we launched an innovative monitoring and data acquisition project for those bikes under development. This project is an important part of a roadmap with which to continuously improve the quality of Ducati products. In GET, we have found a competent and flexible partner that has supported us in this project, proposing innovative solutions in response to our every request."

The know-how and expertise possessed by Athena and Ducati converge once more, with the common goal of improving the performance of the Bolognese manufacturer's bikes on both track and road.
