Athena and MXGP continue partnership and launch a new social competition in 2021

Following many successful years of working together, Infront Moto Racing is thrilled to announce a renewed partnership with Athena for the upcoming season of the FIM Motocross World Championship that will introduce a brand-new social media competition as ‘Best Rider of the Year Sponsored by Athena’!

With nearly 50 years of experience and international presence, the Italian company Athena excels in the manufacturing of high-quality motorcycle parts including gaskets, cylinder kits, pistons, connecting rods and clutch discs for the most modern racing engines and is a global leader for the design, development, and production of Engine Control Units (ECUs) under the brand name of GET. The company is made up of three divisions, Parts & Electronics, Industries and Sportech, all linked by a common goal: to offer the public top-quality products made with solid know-how and selected specifically for the customer.

In addition, Athena/GET advertising banners and boards will be visible all around the MXGP circuits, with on-site presence at selected GP’s.

As always, you can expect to see the top MXGP and MX2 teams using their mechanical and electronical parts, including the likes of Antonio Cairoli, Jorge Prado and Mattia Guadagnini of Red Bull KTM Factory Racing and the former WMX World Champion, Kiara Fontanesi.

Teams and riders using GET ECU’s will include, Monster Energy Factory Yamaha riders, Jeremy Seewer, Glenn Coldenhoff and Ben Watson, plus Gebben Van Venrooy riders, Calvin Vlaanderen, Brent Van Doninck and Kevin Strijbos as well as the Marchetti Racing Team riders Alessandro Lupino and Valerio Lata, along with Conrad Mewse, Bas Vaessen and Adam Sterry from Hitachi KTM Fuelled by Milwaukee among others.
