Alonte (VI), 8 March 2018 - Athena, an international company based in Alonte (VI), makes its debut with its products in the Industries area at Mostra Convegno Expocomfort, the world's largest exhibition for civil and industrial systems, air conditioning and renewable energies, which will take place in Fiera Milano from 13 to 16 March.
The Vicenza-based company operates all over the world and specializes in the design, production and distribution of technical items for the main industrial sectors. Gaskets and products related to the heating sector are Athena's sector that have recorded the greatest increase in turnover in 2017.
"We decided to participate in MCE after the positive feedback we had last year at ISH Frankfurt" said Paolo Zavatta (Export Manager). "The heating sector recorded a significant increase in turnover in 2017, so our R & D department is constantly working to develop an ever more complete range of products, which responds to the individual requests of our customers in Italy and in Europe". During the MCE 2018 exhibition, Athena will present the new SDC 380 seals and vermiculite insulating panels to the international market, which further expand the company's range of sealing and insulation systems for the HVAC sector.
The gaskets in SDC 380 are made of silicone rubber and refractory fiber, a combination of elements that offer high resistance to high temperatures, acid condensation and aging. SDC 380 is used with temperatures up to 300 ° C, where the standard seals fail to ensure adequate sealing and durability. Athena gaskets can be applied to boilers and heat exchangers, flue systems, heating applications such as stoves and stoves, and hot air generators with heat exchanger.
The Vermiculite fireproof plates resist temperatures up to 1150 ° C and are ideal for the insulation of ovens, stoves, fireplaces, boilers and fireplaces. Vermiculite sheets insulate and reflect heat, improving efficiency and reducing exhaust fumes at the same time. The new products will be exhibited at the Athena stand at MCE 2018 in Hall 7, stand U39.
