The French manufacturer Crosscall, specialized in ultra-resistant smartphones and tablets, with collaborators expert in automatic identification, has created the X-SCAN: once you placed on the smartphone this Optical Scanner Module transforms it into a mobile, reliable and performing.

With the X-SCAN it is possible to maximize the working time of your employees: thanks to the optical reading precision, you will get an instant scan. Are you doing repeated scans? With a reading capacity of over 60 codes per second, the X-SCAN is more than capable of dealing with intensive use.

Damaged or badly printed codes, frequent in the logistics field, are no longer an obstacle: thanks to the high performance optical reading and the integrated processor, a single scan is enough to decipher a code even if it is damaged.

Can't access some codes on your storage area? Its increased range (up to 1 meter away) and its laser pointer, allow you to take precise readings, whether you are crouched, standing extended or still inclined. Furthermore, thanks to the white assist LED, the X-SCAN is also functional in the darkness of a warehouse shelf or in bright sunlight (operation up to 100,000 lux).

The X-SCAN also generates numerous symbol libraries, thus ensuring effective reading on any type of code (1D and 2D). Finally, it can be compatible with any professional application dedicated to inventory management through an SDK (Software Development Kit), thus giving the possibility to continue using one's current software. With this level of universality, the X-SCAN is ready to respond effectively in any situation.

DESIGNED FOR A LOT OF USES Resistant to everything

Whether working in the rain or in cold storage, the X-SCAN is perfectly suited to the environment in which it has to operate. Its solid design ensures a high level of resistance to falls, shocks and very low temperatures. Thanks to the IP62 certification, it is also totally waterproof against dust and resistant to rain.

Its materials have been studied to guarantee its resistance over time. Indeed, Crosscall engineers have designed its cover with polyamide, a material used in the automotive industry. It therefore resists to the most demanding uses.

Finally, the X-SCAN stands out in everyday life for its low battery consumption (just 0.2% per hour in standby for a Crosscall CORE-X5 or CORE-Z5 smartphone), and in the long term, the manufacturer's warranty of 5 years stands out as the main trump card, making this investment safe for the future.

X-TRACK Adaptable to your uses

The X-SCAN is fully configurable thanks to the dedicated X-TRACK app: you can identify the exact type of code you want to read and opt for reading mode by detection or activation. You can also take advantage of the programmable buttons of the Crosscall smartphone and activate the reading with a simple press. But its uses go far beyond reading: you can also easily redact an inventory and instantly export it for a collaborator, wherever you are.

Finally, the Keyboard Wedge mode allows you to use it in all professional apps compatible with the keyboard emulator.

DESIGNED AND ASSEMBLED IN FRANCE

The X-SCAN is the first Crosscall product designed and assembled in France. Our teams had the support of two French partners who are specialists in their field: WARE-ID, an expert in automatic identification in the logistics field, and Cordon Electronics, an expert in the manufacture, repair and recycling of electronic products.
