Athena initiated a close cooperation with ZRP, a leading manufacturer of automotive engine shafts. The ZRP car engine shaft is made of 4340 steel and is carefully designed to obtain the best performance from the engine. The company guarantees the best product on the market, no compromise was made on the quality of the material. The crankshaft production process includes very detailed inspections are carried out to ensure quality, tolerance and perfect assembly. Each crankshaft is also subjected to a multi-stage heat treatment and a nitrite-based hardening process that provides high wear resistance. All ZRP engine shafts are fully balanced and ready for installation.
