Athena and GET join forces with Kawasaki, raising the stakes in the global Motocross and Enduro Championships

Alonte (VI), February 27, 2025 – Athena S.p.A., a global leader in highperformance motorcycle spare parts for over 50 years, announces astrategic milestone in the world of off-road racing. For the first timein its history, Athena has entered into an official partnership with Kawasaki, supporting both the Kawasaki Racing Team in Motocross and the MGR-ASI Kawasaki Team in Enduro.

This collaboration marks a crucial moment for Athena and its electronics division, GET, reinforcing our role as key technological partners for world championship teams. Athena will provide Kawasaki teams with a comprehensive package of cutting-edge solutions, ranging from advanced electronics to high-precision mechanical spare parts.

A focus on the partnership

Kawasaki Racing Team (Motocross): Through GET, Athena will supply the team with state-of-the-art electronic technologies, including the SX1 PRO ECU, LC-GPA device, SL1 data acquisition system, Maya management software and custom wiring harnesses. These advanced tools will enable the team to optimize their on-track performance, particularly supporting young talent Mathis Valin in the MX2 category.

MGR Kawasaki Team (Enduro): Athena’s Parts Division has designed and produced new Big Bore Extreme cylinder kit, which will be original equipment for the Kawasaki KX300X, a model specifically developed for Enduro racing. This collaboration has led to the creation of:

- BBX Cylinder with co-fused steel liner

- Forged piston with optimized compression ratio

- Racing wrist pin with DLC coating

- BBX-specific gasket set

Thanks to the high performance and reliability demonstrated throughout the development phase in collaboration with Kawasaki KL-Service, the KX300X has become the new benchmark in Enduro competitions.

Through its GET electronics division, Athena will also support the team by supplying the SX1 PRO TUNER ECU, SX1 Controller, lithium batteries, and motorcycle calibration services, including on-track testing.
