Accelerated aging and thermal stress tests in controlled climate chambers simulate years of real use, allowing analysis of deformation, sealing capability, and long-term stability.

Only the materials that pass these tests become part of the Athena range: the foundation of every reliable and durable gasket.

Every detail is first imagined, then verified with digital precision.

Our technicians use 2D and 3D modeling software to analyze geometries, identify critical sealing areas, and optimize fluid passage and mechanical resistance.

From this stage comes the first prototype, made from selected materials and ready for validation.

The testing process is rigorous and multidisciplinary:

• Fuji Paper Test – Analyzes the distribution of contact pressure, ensuring homogeneous adhesion across the entire sealing surface.
• Tin Test – Measures the actual thickness of the assembled gasket through micro tin insertions, verifying perfect adherence to the mating surfaces.
• Behavioral Analysis of Embossments – Studies the compression of metallic ribs to determine the optimal force/deformation ratio.
• FEM Analysis – The most advanced numerical simulation: visualizes forces, stiffness, and structural deformations to guarantee an ideal balance between resistance and flexibility.

Together, these analyses allow us to predict and perfect gasket behavior under every usage condition.

A multipoint sensor system collects and analyzes thousands of data points in real time, allowing our technicians to refine every detail.

Athena gaskets are entrusted to official MXGP and EnduroGP teams and racing partners to undergo hours of competition in extreme conditions.
