The innovative Vulcan Cut-Ring head gaskets represent a paradigm shift. They’re comparable to solid copper with O-rings in terms of resistance, don’t require machining or sealant and are easy to use and ready for installation: a hybrid design forged to exploit the best sealing properties of composite and stainless steel.

The fluid sealing coating is applied to all internal and external gasket plates. This feature provides a continuous, uninterrupted coating that seals up to 60 RA surface finishes on blocks and heads and superior cold sealing. 3 to 5 layers in 300 series stainless steel, suitable for marine use. Embossed and coated outer layers apply sealing pressure to the cylinder head and bore openings, coolant and oil passages. Internal mirror finish spacer provides overall strength and thickness variations.
