Athena confirmed as Official Partner of the FIM International 6DAYS of Enduro 2026
(Alonte, 20 May 2026) Athena strengthens its presence in the international off-road events scene by confirming its role as Official Partner of the FIM International 6DAYS of Enduro 2026 — the most iconic and longest-running event in the global motorcycling calendar.
The 2026 edition marks a historic milestone for the entire discipline, as the 6DAYS celebrates its 100th edition, once again proving to be one of the most demanding tests for riders and teams worldwide.
The competition will take place from October 12 to 17 in Portugal’s Alentejo region, which returns to host the event after previous editions in 1999, 2009 and 2019.
Around 600 riders representing 30 nations from around the world are expected to compete.
In this context, Athena will be present in the paddock with a dedicated product display area and interactive activities for both riders and fans. The company will also support factory and private teams as a technical partner, further strengthening its role within the two-wheel community through technological solutions designed to perform in the most extreme conditions.
Participation in the event confirms Athena’s commitment to contributing to the development of modern Enduro, while maintaining close relationships with key players in international racing, including teams such as Honda RedMoto, Kawasaki MGR and TM Boano.
Stefania Vercesi, Chief Marketing Officer at Athena, commented: “Being part of the 100th edition of the 6DAYS highlights the strong connection between Athena and the off-road world. This event represents both the history and evolution of Enduro — a discipline that is strategically important for us, both for the passion it inspires and as a key testing ground for our mechanical and electronic solutions in terms of performance and reliability.”
Fabio Muner, FIM Marketing & Digital Director, added: “I am pleased that Athena has once again chosen to support the 6DAYS. The 100th edition marks an extraordinary milestone for off-road motorcycling. Returning to Portugal, in a region deeply connected to this discipline, will provide the ideal setting to celebrate this important anniversary together with riders, teams and international partners.”
With this participation, Athena aims to further strengthen its presence in the off-road racing world, with the dual objective of increasing the number of teams choosing and using its products in competition and engaging amateur rider communities by bringing them closer to the racing experience through the company’s solutions.
