The new three-year partnership notably promotes the Athena brand into the official MXGP webpage, motocross International tracks, award backdrops and TV commercials run on TV channels.
FUNCHAL (Portugal), 23 February 2014 – ATHENA SPA is pleased to announce to be entered into a three-year partnership agreement with Youthstream and the MXGP (FIM Motocross World Championship) and the MXoN (Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations). This agreement will see ATHENA becoming the Motorcycling Equipment Partner.
Youthstream Group LDA is the company that manages the exclusive television, marketing and promotional worldwide rights of the FIM Motocross World Championship, the FIM Motocross of Nations, the FIM Women’s Motocross World Championship, the FIM Veteran’s Motocross World Cup, the FIM Junior Motocross World Championship, the FIM Snowcross World Championship, the Motocross European Championship and the Motocross of European Nations.

The agreement grants the ATHENA logo recognitions on the official MXGP website (www.mxgp.com), ATHENA logo identification on the tracks, on the podium backdrops, and TV commercials during live coverage.
MXGP and ATHENA partnership will start with the first race, the MXGP of Qatar, on March the 1st, at Losail.
