www.athena.eu uses Google Analytics from Google, Inc. (hereafter “Google”) to generate statistics on use of the website. Google Analytics uses cookies (not third-party) that do not store personal data. Information collected by cookies on use of the website by users (including IP addresses) are sent by the browser to Google, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, U.S.A. and held on Google’s servers.

Under the terms of this external service, Google, as external data controller, will use this information for the purpose of mapping and studying use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity, Internet connection (mobile, PC, browser used etc.) and how users search and navigate between portal pages.  Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law or if these third parties process this information on behalf of Google. Google does not connect IP addresses to any other data in Google’s possession.

Social media plugins (third-party cookies)
