Leatt presents the new Body Protector 6.5 and Chest Protector Pro 6.5

CAPE TOWN, SOUTH AFRICA, 2021 Popular protective riding gear brand, Leatt has launched their 6.5 Body Protector and 6.5 Chest Protector Pro, as part of their 2021 Protection Range, after many years of rigorous development and testing, these cutting-edge products won’t disappoint – much like the rest of Leatt’s 2021 Range.

 

Ultimate Protection:

The hard shell 6.5 Body protector is a new concept, it comes in 2 pieces, there is a zip up compression suit with built in shoulder and elbow impact protectors and also a height adjustable kidney belt. Then a full hard-shell CE certified chest and back impact protector along with side protection is used over the top.

The 6.5 offers CE certified impact protection for the chest and back (Level 2), while the separate compression sock features built-in Level 1 protection for the elbows and shoulders. This kidney belt can be adjusted to your height for the ultimate fit, as well as added side protection in the form of flank panels. Moreover, there are removable plates in the chest and back for perfect compatibility should you wear a Leatt neck brace.

The Leatt 6.5 Body Protector meets and exceeds many global standards including, the FIM (International Motorcycle Federation) and FFM (French Motorcycle Federation).

Comfort:

This modular system will not only give you the most protection due to the Airfit impact foam but also great ventilation and comfort.

What’s more, the 6.5 offers a 3D design, which means it’s molded to shape to your body, ensuring ultimate fit. The separate compression sock is easily removed with a central zip, is anti-odor and designed for ultimate airflow and evaporation to keep you fresh and comfortable in hot conditions.

Its multi-plate articulating design offers you ultimate freedom of movement so you can ride at your best, without any restrictions.  This is also a unisex product, so it can be worn by both men and women. It is also available in a multiple sizes, from S – XXL.

The 6.5 Chest Protector Pro shares many of the body protector features and benefits without the zip up compression sock, it is a hard-shell product with 3DF impact foam that is now injected rather than using adhesive which offers many benefits such as better comfort, moisture wicking and give a much-improved 3D shape. CE certified impact protection in the chest, back (Level 2) and shoulders (Level 1) with side panels ensures this is best level chest protector in our range.

All hard-shell panels including the shoulders have been slimmed down and re-shaped to be more comfortable and less bulky, improved ventilation will keep you cooler and removable plates in the chest and back means it works with or without a Leatt Neck Brace.
